As an alumni of the Jasper-Troupsburg Central School District, I am honored to serve the Wildcat community as the Superintendent of Schools.

Graduating from Jasper-Troupsburg in 1991, I was well prepared for the rigor and expectations of college.   I took with me years of fantastic memories of involvement in sports and extra-curricular opportunities, which provided me with leadership experience and the skills to be part of a team.  Following my graduation from St. Bonaventure University in 1995, I moved to Florida to begin a career in education.  In my 20 years in Florida, I taught 2nd, 5th, and 6th grades before moving into an administrative role as the STEAM Coordinator for Brevard Public Schools.  Although I was far from home, I watched with pride as the Wildcats continued to dominate sports and became an unstoppable presence in the area of the arts.

When faced with tragedy in my own life, I knew that the place that I truly needed to be was back in the Jasper-Troupsburg community.  Returning with my own two children in 2016, I substituted in both the elementary and the high school as we adjusted.  I became the Elementary Principal in July of 2016 and loved every moment of the time I spent in that role.  Moving into the position of Superintendent in January of 2021 has provided me with even more opportunities to work alongside our outstanding faculty and staff.  Together we have the goal of returning the Jasper-Troupsburg Central School District to the powerhouse that it has been known for.

With hardworking students, involved parents and community members, and a dedicated staff, I have the greatest confidence in the ability of the Jasper-Troupsburg District to overcome the struggles that were presented to us in August following the flooding from TS Fred.  We are thankful for the use of the Greenwood building, as provided by the Canisteo-Greenwood Central School District.  Currently our District Office and Jr/Sr High School is located in Greenwood, with our Elementary still in Troupsburg.  Updates on the progress of returning to the Jasper campus can be heard at our monthly Board of Education meetings.

Please feel free to reach out at any time with any questions or concerns that you would like to discuss.  I am also happy to share any compliments about the district with our Wildcat stakeholders.

Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat,
