• Our district is located in southern Steuben County in the Southern Tier of New York.  Jasper-Troupsburg is a rural community that is within easy travel distance to the cities of Corning and Elmira, as well as the Finger Lakes Regions.  Residents and visitors alike enjoy recreational activities such as boating, skiing, hunting, fishing and hiking.  Other attractions include the Corning Museum of Glass, Rockwell Museum, the Watkins Glen Gorge and Letchworth State Park.  We have many opportunities, within an hour drive, for advanced education such as the State Universities of New York (SUNY) at Alfred and Geneseo, Alfred University, Corning Community College and Elmira College.  

    Approximately 520 pre-kindergarten through twelfth-grade students are served in Jasper-Troupsburg's two school buildings by 70 experienced instructional staff.  Our elementary school building in Troupsburg houses students in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade.  Our high school building in Jasper serves grades 7-12.  

    Students at Jasper-Troupsburg receive a well-rounded education that focuses on academics, arts and extracurricular activities.  In an effort to meet the New York State Common Core Learning Standards, the elementary school has an evolving curriculum with an emphasis on helping each child achieve his or her highest potential.  Outside of the normal school day, students participate in various clubs, sports, instrumental music and chorus.  Our high school offers a variety of Accelerated College Education (ACE) courses, with college credits earned through Corning Community College.  

    J-T takes great pride in our extracurricular activities, with approximately 20 clubs.  We currently have a nationally-recognized FFA program, an award-winning marching band, a ski club and an active drama club.  Jasper-Troupsburg also has a very successfull athletic program, boasting state championship soccer teams for both girls and boys.
